Cobb County Sheriff’s Deputies

Last night, September 8, 2022, the lives of two Cobb County Sheriff’s Deputies were tragically ended when they were serving a warrant in West Cobb. This senseless act effects not only their families but our community as a whole. Our deepest sympathies go out to the families of these two deputies and to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Northeast Cobb Business Association has a close relationship with the Sheriff’s Office and would like to make a contribution to the Sheriff’s Foundation so that the foundation can help meet the needs of these families in the days, weeks and months ahead.

If you would like to help you can make a contribution to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Foundation or to the Northeast Cobb Business Association FBO Cobb Sheriff’s Foundation.

NCBA Dinner for interns/parents

On August 31, 2022 NCBA hosted a dinner for this years interns and the parents at Copeland’s Restaurant. Special thank you to Shannan Collier Stalvey for sponsoring this event and to Copeland’s for the wonderful food and exceptional service.

Frank Wigington, Shannan Collier Stalvey, Jason Watson and Steve Crowley presented the objective of the Intern program and the importance of establishing networking relationships. There was tremendous appreciation of the intern’s parents for the investment being made for the interns by our association. The event highlighted the impact the Northeast Cobb Business Association makes in our community.

The intern program draws two students from the following schools in our community: Kell, Lassiter, Pope, Sprayberry and Wheeler High Schools.

On Friday, August 19th we hosted our annual Upbeat event recognizing some of the amazing volunteers who give their time and talent serving in our local schools.  Local businesses and school administrators were also in attendance.

NCBA would proudly like to thank all of our sponsors who helped make this event successful.
