The Northeast Cobb Business Association would like to congratulate Frank Wigington as the Business Person of the Year. Frank Wigington grew up in Cobb County, he has a business in Cobb County, Frank Wigington Landscape Company, and has served on numerous boards including, SPLOST, Cobb School Foundation, Cobb Sheriff’s Foundation, North Georgia State Fair and the Salvation Army. Frank also served as the “Voice of the Jackets” at Sprayberry High School where he and his wife Lynn attended school as well as their two children.
He has served as the President of NCBA numerous times. His contributions over the years include Golf Tournaments, 5K9 Runs to raise funds donating a dog to Cobb Sheriff office, Cob Police, Child with Autism, Cobb Fire Department, Cobb District Attorney’s office for young children when they have to testify, a Dog for a Vietnam veteran and co-established the special needs graduation and established the first NCBA Pickle Ball Tournament.
“Being a part of the community and doing what I can here is always a pleasure,” Wigington said. “It’s been an honor to serve this county and this board in the few things that I have done. I’m humbled by this, and I certainly appreciate everyone here.”
